Train Room 'Album Launch'

Train Room 'Album Launch'

Train Room is the recording project of Joe Monaghan, a songwriter and producer based in County Mayo. Previous releases include Delicate Bones (2017) and Hurricane of Love (2021).

After a four year hiatus Train Room have returned with acclaimed second album 'Station Road'. Written and self-produced between 2024 and 2026, the record reflects on childhood, place and memory — centred around the street where he grew up in the West of Ireland.

Rather than nostalgia as sentimentality, the album treats memory as texture — layered into arrangement, atmosphere and tone.

Train Room will tour the album around Ireland this summer and will kick off in the iconic Cobblestone bar in Dublin on June 14th

“Train Room captures something universal: the dizzying rush of youth, and the way its echoes continue to shape who we become.” - ATWOOD MAGAZINE

Mindtravels

Mindtravels

Dive into the magic of the seasons and explore the rhythms of the year with MindTravels.

‘Mark S Hutchinson that was utterly beautiful. Nearly 8 minutes of peace; I just felt all the stress and pain fall away so that a loving Wonder could come over me. Words can never contain Truth, but there are words that push us closer, and these are those kind of words. Just lovely, thank you. 💜 The music was wonderful, too! 🥰’

‘Thank you Mark. You are becoming our own Unitarian John O'Donohue the way you communicate our oneness with nature. Music, word and visuals are as one too.’

MindTravels is the creative pairing of performance poet Mark Hutchinson and pianist & composer Josh Johnston. Mark composes and delivers reflections, meditation and what he likes to call attentions and Josh plays piano in real time during the performance. Their reflections are calm and positive in their outlook, always ending in a hopeful place. Their live performances are casual, gentle and human. Josh's musical accompaniments to Mark's words are always improvised to ensure each audience gets a unique performance.

This Midsummer's Day, Sunday 21st June, MindTravels will present a new suite of reflections The Wheel of The Year. With this selection, MindTravels guide you through a year of celebration and challenge, sorrow and hope, equinoxes and seasons, festivals and holidays, dark and light, loss and rebirth.

Come and join us for 90 minutes of calm and solace.

The Dubin Jazz Co-op Presents: Nikki Griffin & Sam Barker

with bassist Michael Riordan

At their upcoming Cobblestone performance, Nikki and Sam will be joined by renowned bassist Michael Riordan for a trio set of jazz standards and originals from their Girl & the Moon EP. The trio will be performing vocal highlights ranging from Billie Holiday, to Dorothy Fields, all way to Thelonius Monk.

Nikki Griffin is a jazz vocalist and vocal coach based in Cork City, Ireland and a graduate of the Cork School of Music. She holds both a First Class Honours Master’s degree in Vocal Performance as well as a BMus. Nikki enjoyed her studies under renowned jazz vocalist Laoise Leahy and esteemed vocal specialist Áine Whelan, who both helped her immensely to discover her sound, her intent, and her love for jazz and songwriting. A familiar presence on the Irish jazz scene, Nikki is a featured local artist during the internationally celebrated Guinness Cork Jazz Festival and performs regularly throughout the year. Her career has brought her to stages across Ireland, Italy, and New York City, where she captivates audiences with her distinctive tone, interpretive sensitivity, and natural stage presence. Nikki’s most recent musical collaborations have been with her musical accomplice Sam Barker, with whom she has released both an original music EP titled ‘Girl & The Moon’, and more recently their album In Her Own Words... Jazz Standards by Women Vol. 1’ released on International Womens Day 2025.

As a vocalist, Nikki has performed alongside artists including Damien Rice, Finbar Wright and Laoise Leahy. Also an accomplished violist, she has performed with internationally acclaimed singers such as Colm Wilkinson, Michael Ball, Sofia Escobar and Michael McCarthy.

Sam Barker is a jazz guitarist whose early background in folk and blues led him to jazz during his Classical Guitar studies at CSM, where he performed with the CSM Big Band under John O’Connor.
Active on the Cork music scene since 2008, he performs both as a soloist and accompanist. While he has collaborated with groups including Cork City Orchestra and the UCC Choir, his primary focus is jazz performance and interpretation. Influenced initially by Django Reinhardt, Freddie Green, and Charlie Christian, and later by Wes Montgomery, Grant Green, Bill Frisell, and John Scofield, Sam has released two albums: In Her Own Words... Jazz Standards by Women Vol. 1 (with Nikki Griffin, 08/03/25) and Little Sammy Speaks (09/02/26). A third release, Cutting a Hole in Time, is in development.

Mr. Irish Bastard's Two Night Stand - Two Nights Live at The Cobblestone

Mr. Irish Bastard's Two Night Stand - Two Nights Live at The Cobblestone

Mr. Irish Bastard is one of the most formidable and recognised bands amongst the celtic punk genre around the world today. Staying true to the name, the band was formed by purebred Irish Bastard, Chris Lennon in Münster, Germany after a night on the lash with fellow drunkard and deviant, Jan Strecker. Armed with an acoustic guitar and a banjo, the duo quickly recruited a motley crew of likeminded Irish (and German) hooligans and set off to conquer the world, one Irish pub at a time.

Four months, roughly three hundred pork pies, ninety packs of cigarettes, fifty seven litres of Jameson, and 3 concussions later, the band emerged from the studio with their first attempt “St. Mary’s School of Drinking”. Seven songs about everything from drinking, to… erm… drinking.

… And the rest, is history.

History they will never remember, unfortunately, because, well… alcohol. Which makes it kinda hard to write a band biography, but according to Google, Mr. Irish Bastard has shared the stage with bands of high ilk, such as The Pogues, Dropkick Murphys, The Levellers and Flogging Molly (to name a few), and performed at some of the most prestigious festivals in Europe such as Wacken, Rock Harz and Open Flair.

A quick Google image search also shows members of the band in various degrees of inebriation on stage in China, Japan and what appears to be Ukraine.

This is all very well and good, but there’s no point dwelling on the past when it comes to Mr. Irish Bastard as - like a fine prison-cell-toilet-moonshine-gin - despite being formed from filth, continues to get easier to digest, more tolerable to consume and harder to refuse as the years go by. Bad metaphors aside, the band only continues to grow with every release. Now on their 7th studio album “Battle Songs of the Damned”, the choruses are only getting catchier, the shows are only getting bigger and the reputation of being one of the hardest working and prestigious celtic punk bands in the world, only gets stronger.

Armed with almost 20 years worth of drunken anthems and nursery rhymes on crack, Mr. Irish Bastard are hurdling towards 2025 with tour plans for everywhere from London to Leipzig in support of “Battle Songs of the Damned”.

Inni-K Live at The Cobblestone

Inni-K Live at The Cobblestone

Inni-K (Eithne Ní Chatháin) is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter whose music draws from her extensive background in sean-nós and traditional Irish music, even as she ventures into new musical territories.
Known for her powerful live performances and singular creative vision, Inni-K continues to evolve with each release. Her fourth studio album ‘Still A Day’ — a fully original collection and her most creatively expansive work to date was released September 2025.
“Inni-K’s deeply meditative, often Cagean, record is dreamier and more wide-ranging than 2022’s sean-nós-inspired Iníon.“Still a Day is folk, certainly, but also ambient, jazz, art-song – a tactile, deeply sensitive album at the threshold of meaning and sound. Out of rupture, she's made something luminous; it is an album to unsettle, console, and finally, affirm” - The Line of Best Fit.
“One of Ireland’s most exciting artists” The Irish Times
“One of the most acclaimed voices in the extraordinary revival of traditional andfolk music we have witnessed in recent years.” RTÉ Radio 1, Arena
Her acclaimed 2022 album Iníon — a contemporary sean-nós album— was lauded by Folk Radio UK as “an album of tremendous understatement, power and beauty,” and described by The Irish Times as “a sparkling collection of songs that shimmer in the heat of Inni-K’s warm, unforced voice.” It was named a Top of the World release by Songlines Magazine and received two RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Award nominations: Best Folk Album and Best Traditional Folk Track for “Éamonn an Chnoic.”
Her earlier albums, The Hare & the Line (2019) and The King Has Two Horse’s Ears (2015), established her as one of the most distinctive voices in Irish songwriting — blending evocative lyrics, ethereal vocals, deft musicianship, and a unique approach to composition.
Inni-K has brought her spellbinding performances to audiences around the world, performing at venues such as Irish Arts Center (New York), Centre Culturel Irlandais (Paris), Symphony Hall (Birmingham), Cork Opera House, and the National Concert Hall (Dublin). She has also toured globally with Sadler’s Wells and Michael Keegan-Dolan’s acclaimed dance-theatre show Rian, and shared the stage with artists as varied as Toumani Diabaté, Efterklang, Lisa O’Neill, Hothouse Flowers, Sam Amidon, Martin Hayes, and Jeff Ballard.
In 2025, Inni-K served as Traditional Artist in Residence at University College Cork (UCC), reflecting her deep connection to Ireland’s living musical traditions.

Bí Liom Bí: Muireann Ní Shé, Becky Ní Éallaithe, Aisling Lyons

Bí Liom Bí: Muireann Ní Shé, Becky Ní Éallaithe, Aisling Lyons

Bí Liom Bí is a performance of sean-nós song, traditional music and dance by three young women working at the forefront of Irish traditional practice. Drawing on an oral tradition that long predates the written word, the programme centres on songs and tunes passed down aurally through generations — melodies and verses that carry the stories and emotions of people in particular times and places.

The traditions of Cork, Connemara, and Clare are brought together by uilleann piper and singer Muireann Ní Shé, sean-nós dancer, singer and concertina player Becky Ní Éallaithe, and harper, concertina player and composer Aisling Lyons. Their approach treats this repertoire as living material: shaped by dialogue, collaboration, and their own experiences as young women engaging with inherited forms in a modern world.

The Cobblestone
Saturday 12th September
Doors 8pm

About This Performance

Marisa will be touring her new album, called Volume 1. The record will be released May 2026 on Thrill Jockey as part of a larger multi-year release project connected to her ongoing work curation of what she calls the Anthology of UnAmerican Folk Music. This curated collection draws from nearly one thousand songs sourced from the private record collection of Harry Smith, where she is focusing on music from regions where the United States has engaged in conflict since 1970, including Southeast Asia, the former USSR, and the Arabic and Islamic world.  Very relevant at the moment! Marisa was awarded a residency through the Tulsa Artist Fellowship granting her access to an archive (of more than 1,200 records) from Smith’s personal collection, now owned by the University of Oklahoma and housed at the Bob Dylan Center in Tulsa. During the nine-day residency, Marisa focused on collecting recordings from countries connected to U.S. conflicts during her lifetime starting in 1970 - the year she was born. The record features deeply personal interpretations—composed, transcribed, and arranged—of music spanning from Afghanistan to Vietnam, via Yemen, Cambodia, Turkmenistan, and Pakistan. She will be performing this material live for the first time, alongside selections from her earlier catalog and new, unreleased work

About Marisa Anderson

Marisa Anderson channels the history of the guitar and stretches the boundaries of tradition. Her playing is fluid, emotional, and masterful, featuring compositions and improvisations that re-imagine the landscape of American music.  The New Yorker calls Anderson ‘one of the most distinctive guitar players of her generation’, and NPR refers to her as among ‘this era’s most powerful players’. Her music has been featured in Rolling Stone, NPR, The  New York Times, Pitchfork, the BBC and The Wire. Festival appearances  include Big Ears, Pitchfork Midwinter, Le Guess Who and the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. Anderson is the recipient of  the 2025 Spark Award for Oregon Artists presented by the James F. and Marion L. Miller Foundation.

In addition to her solo work, Anderson is sought after as a collaborator and composer.  Swallowtail, her second record in duo with drummer Jim White was released May 2024 on Thrill Jockey Records. 2024 also saw the release of the feature film score ‘ A Perfect Day For Caribou’, as well as appearances on records by Charlie Parr, Myriam Gendron and Big|Brave. In addition to multiple solo releases, past projects include 2021’s Lost Futures with guitarist William Tyler, and contributions to recordings by Matmos, Tara Jane O’Neil, Beth Ditto, Sharon Van Etten and Circuit Des Yeux, among others.

Classically trained, Anderson honed her skills playing in country, jazz and circus bands. Her current work is focused on a mid-20th century archive of recorded music from the Islamic world, Southeast Asia and the Soviet Union.

Paul Spring and Aidan Duffy

Paul Spring and Aidan Duffy

Paul Spring and Aidan Duffy

Paul Spring is a songwriter and guitarist based in New York City. This will be his third gig at the cobblestone, and serve as album release show for his new album Barnstorm which was recorded in Oranmore, Galway. Between 2023’s Always Almost Home “meshing 90s pop and Bach” (MPR) and the “hidden pop gem” (Irish Times) of 2022ʼs Thunderhead, Spring has experimented with minimal electronic production and folk. Aquarium Drunkard called his album, 2024’s River Flows Two Ways, “a singular fresh offering as well as a catalogue introduction of sorts.” It accompanied a canoe tour down the Hudson River. In 2024 and 2025 he recorded Kind of Heaven and Dumb and Free with drummer and co-producer Jon Nellen. In the summer of 2025, Paul put out an album of original music entirely in Classical Latin entitled Vita Brevis. He has also appeared as a session guitarist and co-writer on Blackthought and El Michels Affair’s Glorious Game, and his guitar playing was sampled on releases by Kenny Beats, Vic Mensa, Sofia Valdez, and Kirby.

Aidan Duffy is a 27-year-old songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer originally from County Meath, now based in Galway. While his work spans a variety of styles, his primary influence remains folk song and Irish traditional music, which underpin his approach to melody and storytelling.

As a solo artist, Aidan has independently released and produced two albums and three EPs, taking full creative control at every stage — from songwriting and production to mixing and touring. As well as drawing massively from the well of folk song, Aidan takes huge inspiration from numerous contemporary artists such as Villagers, Jessica Pratt and David Gray.

His most recent album, Part II, is a deeply personal record written during a period of significant upheaval. Created across 2024 and 2025, the album draws on the end of a long-term relationship, a move west to Galway, and the gradual loss of his father to dementia. While rooted in grief and self-reflection, Part II balances emotional honesty with moments of warmth and forward motion, embracing space through understated arrangements, sensitive guitar work and subtle use of synths, strings and rhythm.

Raised as the youngest of ten home-educated siblings in a creative and highly alternative household, Aidan developed an instinct for emotional nuance and narrative songwriting early on. He currently lives in Oranmore, Co. Galway, where he spends most of his time producing records.

Spencer Jo & Friends

Spencer Jo & Friends

From the gritty basements of the DIY scene to intimate folk venues, Spencer Jo channels raw defiance into melodic arrangements that cut straight to the bone. Drawing on years in underground bands since age 16, they've evolved into an artist who wields acoustic guitar and incisive lyrics like weapons.
Their music fuses the confrontational spirit of their roots with folk's storytelling tradition, tackling social issues and surreal observations with unflinching clarity. As a skilled instrumentalist who deliberately avoids showing off, Spencer Jo keeps their focus on substance, letting carefully crafted melodies carry the weight of their convictions. The result is a rare fusion where protest meets poetry, creating music that strips away pretense to reveal truths that demand to be heard.

Fergal Scahill & Ryan Molloy

Fergal Scahill & Ryan Molloy

"Two musicians at ease in each other’s company, sitting back and kicking into sets of tunes that make light work of the complexity of what actually unfolds"

FERGAL SCAHILL & RYAN MOLLOY are two musical maestros whose friendship dates back to their sparring days at the fiddle competitions of the Fleadhanna Cheoil in the late 90s and early 2000s. The fiddle and piano duo have performed across the globe and recorded four albums together to great critical acclaim. Their most recent release, The Gannet’s Dive (2025), reveals two masters at the height of their craft as composers and performers. Across eleven tracks and thirteen new tunes, ranging from the evocative title track – a reflection on the effortless swooping of the gannets in Galway Bay – to rollicking tunes such as The Goddaughter Reels, Scahill and Molloy have created a distinctive musical voice that emanates from years of collaboration and shared experience. Their colourful soundworld, captured so intimately by Brian Crosby of Treehouse Studios, immerses the listener in the performance and invites them to embark on a special journey through Scahill and Molloy’s close musical relationship.

The Dublin Jazz Co-op

The Dublin Jazz Co-op Presents: Laoise Leahy & Johnny Taylor

Laoise Leahy - Vocals Johnny Taylor - Piano

Live at The Cobblestone May 31st 2026 3.00pm , The BackRoom

Acclaimed vocalist and composer Laoise Leahy presents Breathe In & Let Go, a  special summer afternoon concert performed with master pianist Johnny Taylor in the intimate Cobblestone venue

A native of Cork and a contemporary voice lecturer at MTU Cork School of Music,  Laoise is known for her rich, soulful tone and her instinctive, fearless approach to  improvisation. Her music moves fluidly between jazz, soul, folk and contemporary  sound worlds, guided by a deep curiosity about connection, presence and what it  means to be human.

For this performance, she is joined by her longtime collaborator Johnny Taylor on piano, bringing an intuitive musical chemistry and a shared sensitivity to space, texture and groove.

The music for this concert draws from her recently released EP ‘Breathe In & Let  Go’ alongside reimagined, revered jazz tunes, newly composed songs and open  improvisations. Inspired by breath, nature, time and the inner rhythms of life, the  set unfolds gently - at times grounded and earthy, at others expansive, soaring and

searching - always leaving room in the moment for the unexpected.

Breathe In & Let Go is an invitation to pause in the middle of the day, to listen  deeply, to soften and allow the music to carry you for a while. Intimate, reflective  and quietly powerful, this lunchtime concert offers a nourishing and transporting  moment shared in one of Dublin’s most cherished live music spaces.

“Laoise Leahy’s must-hear ambient-jazz EP, ‘Breathe In & Let Go‘ is fuelled by intelligent arrangements, stunning performances and magnetic melodies. One thing is for sure, ‘Breathe In & Let Go‘ is a contemporary jazz EP that will stand the test of time….”

Alaskan Songwriters: Fortenbery, Vidic, Heist and Heist

Alaskan Songwriters: Fortenbery, Vidic, Heist and Heist

Alaska-based songwriter Josh Fortenbery (guitar, bass, vocals) writes like a poet and moves between genres with ease, creating an inviting combination of country, folk, and bluegrass. His most recent album, Tidy Memorial, has received rave reviews from publications around the world and drawn comparisons to John Prine, cracking the top twenty on the US folk and alt-country charts.

The Heists have spent decades playing the bars and backrooms of Alaska, honing their close harmonies and collecting stories. Featuring Andrew Heist (mandolin, fiddle, vocals) and Erin Heist (guitar, bass, vocals), The Heists bring bluegrass drive, country emotion, and old-time groove to songs that speak to the heart of what it means to be raised in Alaska. Rounding out this Alaska supergroup is Taylor Dallas Vidic (snare, vocals), a prolific songwriter in her own right and one of Alaska’s most in-demand vocalists. Individually, members of this band have performed at Wintergrass, Rotterdam Bluegrass, Old Tone, Blackpot, and Treefort Music Festivals. This is their first tour in this configuration, and they bring a hard-driving, bluegrass attitude to new arrangements of their songs with an emphasis on toe-curling harmonies.

Eugene Chadbourne

Eugene Chadbourne

Enthusiastic Eunuch Presents

Starting out playing rock and roll guitar, Chadbourne quickly grew bored with the form's conventions, going on to study the blues, country, bluegrass, free jazz, and noise before synthesizing those heterogeneous influences into a unique style of his own.

“One of the underground community's most well-known and well-regarded eccentrics.” All Music Guide

Chadbourne fronted Shockabilly (1982–1985) with Mark Kramer (bass/organ) and David Licht (drums) and has worked with numerous artists including John Zorn, Fred Frith, Derek Bailey, Han Bennink, Carla Bley Band, Paul Lovens, Toshinori Kondo, Kommissar Hjuler und Frau, Camper Van Beethoven, Jello Biafra, Turbonegro, They Might Be Giants, Sun City Girls, Violent Femmes, Aki Takase, Walter Daniels, Kevin Blechdom, Biff Blumfumgagnge, Zu and Jimmy Carl Black

Check him out on youtube here & here

“Chadbourne is a great songwriter and a true banjo virtuoso. His inclination to experimentation draws on his love of traditional country and bluegrass. The way he can scoop up techniques and then have them resurface in unexpected guises is part of what made his performance so engaging.” – London Jazz Review

“Chadbourne’s inventiveness, technical skill, and sense of whimsy are on full display here, reminding us once again of all the things that place him in the pantheon of avant rock/free jazz/free improvisation guitarists, among the likes of Derek Bailey, Fred Frith, and Henry Kaiser.” – The Quietus

Mike Cooper

Mike Cooper

“The icon of post-everything music” – Lawrence English (::Room40::)

For the past 60 years Mike Cooper has been an international artistic explorer constantly pushing the boundaries.

He plays lap steel guitar and sings, he is an improviser and composer, song-maker, a visual and installation artist; film and video maker and radio arts producer.

Initially a folk-blues guitarist he is as responsible as anyone else — and more so than many — for ushering in the acoustic blues boom in the U.K. in the mid ’60s.

He has, arguably, stretched the possibilities of that genre even more than his better known contemporaries Davy Graham, Bert Jansch, John Renbourne etc. by pursuing it into the more avant-garde musical areas occupied by guitar innovators such as Elliott Sharp, Keith Rowe, Fred Frith and Marc Ribot, with an eclectic mix of the many styles he has practiced over the years. Ranging freely through free improvisation, his own idiosyncratic original songs, electro-acoustic music, exotica, traditional country blues, folk, pop songs, and ‘sonic gestural’ playing utilising open tunings, extended guitar techniques and electronics

Watch him here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EXtncJ_MVQ

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBT781Tcy2Y.

"Mike Cooper’s output of the past half century has been described as ‘post-everything’. It’s a fitting phrase really when you consider he has been at the beating heart of so many critical musical moments. From the development of the blues touring circuit in the UK, through the growth of the folk scene and into the explosion of free improvisation that came to define a generation of UK musicians. Amidst it all, working at stitching these disparate forms into some kind of deterritorialised zone, was Mike Cooper." - Lawrence English Room 40 Records.

“Cooper is making the most adventurous music of his life… incredibly rich and evocative, and as a live performance, it’s utterly flawless. Cooper takes live guitar processing and sampling as his raw material, using it to build something complex and substantive, full of ideas and surprises, not just abandoning it half-formed.” – Jonathan Dean – Brainwashed

The Onlies

The Onlies

Title

Subtitle

The Onlies, on tour from America, are a longstanding collective of young friends defining a powerful new generation of stringband music. Described as “the best old-time stringband out there” (Songlines), their music moves with a pulsating drive, sharp arrangements, and rich vibration — it resounds with the present.

Multi-instrumentalists and vocalists Sami Braman, Riley Calcagno, and Leo Shannon formed The Onlies in Seattle as young kids, bringing in celebrated guitarist/singer Vivian Leva 10 years later. “ Their fourth album, You Climb The Mountain, marks 20 years as a band. It was recorded by Grammy winner Joel Savoy and powered by the unmistakable bass groove of Nokosee Fields as it takes listeners on a climb up no ordinary mountain. If it sounds like a volcanic journey, it is—with fiddles, banjos, guitars, bass, autoharp, harmonium, electric guitar, and two to four-part vocal harmonies, in a generous 15 tracks including a cameo from Bluegrass legend Alice Gerrard.

The Onlies have earned first place at the Appalachian Stringband Festival in Clifftop, WV, and are currently Artistic Directors of Fiddle Tunes in Port Townsend, Wash., one of the largest and most venerable fiddle festivals in the country. As individuals, they are members of Viv & Riley, Willie Watson (Sami), and Bonnie "Prince" Billy (Leo). As influential fiddler Bruce Molsky says. “all four of the Onlies are shining stars. Together, what impresses me most about them is that they’ve grabbed this old music we all love by the reins and dragged it into the 21st century.” Indeed, you can hear their joy and decades of playing with one another in an “energy so palpable and vivid, it’s like you’ve been transported into the center of their sonic world, burrowed deep down with the variegated melodies and sparkling string-band grooves” (Bandcamp Daily).

Ben Turner: Songs and Stories in the Backroom

From the hills of Wexford to the theatres of Germany, Ben Turner has done a lot of miles in the last few years. Cutting his teeth on the streets and in the pubs of Dublin, he soon packed up his guitar and headed to Europe. Through street shows and pop up gigs in bars, living rooms, train stations, barbershops and other unique locations he gathered a modest but loyal fan-base, and soon attracted the attention of many respected musicians.

He has gone on to share the stage with a variety of artists such as fellow Wexford songwriter Wallis Bird, Mark Geary, German folk hero STOPPOK and English master songwriter Scott Matthews. With influences ranging from Bob Dylan and Paul Simon to nineties grunge icons Pearl Jam and Soundgarden, Ben's powerful whisper to a roar vocals and clever guitar playing are something to experience.

Gráinne is known for her lyrical fiddle playing and thoughtful approach to composition, shaped by her roots in the musical traditions of Cavan, Leitrim, and Clare, and her longstanding involvement in Glasgow’s traditional music scene. Her critically-praised albums and collaborative projects draw on storytelling and history, creating music that is grounded, imaginative, and full of heart.
