Vernon Papers
The music is called Vernon Papers, from American singer-songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist Drew Shanefield. He brings his indie folk catalog of music to the Backroom at the Cobblestone Pub on Sunday, August 16. This collection of songs, encompasses much of Drew’s musical output from the last few years.
In the studio, Drew plays every instrument and sings every vocal track. On stage, the Vernon Papers experience is largely a solo one. An acoustic guitar and a notebook full of musings. The sound at times can be raw and from the depths, and at other times vulnerable and thoughtful. Always from the heart and the gut.
