Aja Nisenson, Bryan Murphy, Declan O'Brien

AJA NISENSON, LA based singer-songwriter, making her Irish headline debut at the Cobblestone. Supported by Bryan Murphy and Declan O'Brien.

Aja is currently recording her first album of original songs - a mix of hyphenated genre music including folk, alt-country and jazz. She has performed her one-woman shows across the US, and has held fellowships at MacDowell, Eugene O’Neill Cabaret Conference, The Marble House Project, Jazz in July Amherst, and the Vermont Jazz Center.

Bryan Murphy is a Dublin-based guitarist who went looking for a singer and accidentally became a songwriter.

Influenced by writers such as John Prine, Randy Newman and Courtney Barnett, alongside long-standing obsessions with The Beatles and Radiohead, Bryan’s songs try to say more with less, using humour, observation and the occasional fancy chord.
