The Harbour Folk Band
The Stavanger Harbour folk band plays a fine blend of Irish and British folk music. Some of the songs have Crossed the raging main and come back with nuggets of yankee gold or a faint smell of Norwegian Lutefisk.
The band has been the house band in the Irishman pub in Stavanger, Norway, for longer than anyone would care to remember. They pack a full house twice a week and often feature International guest musicians.
The music will leave you with a smile on your face and a strange craving for whale beef and stout.
