Catherine McEvoy is a renowned Irish traditional flute player based in Co. Meath. She emerged in the 1970s as a leading exponent of the Sligo–Roscommon style. A respected teacher and performer, she won TG4 Musician of the Year in 2019. Her expressive, graceful tone reflects the influence of Josie McDermott.
