Deema is an amazing woman from Khan Younis who saw her family home and her university destroyed in the first days of the genocide. Since then she has been displaced many times. She has seen her grandfather and half sister killed. Another of her sisters gave birth to a child in the midst of the violence; providing food for the baby has been a constant struggle. Deema's fortitude and strength is remarkable. Throughout the choas she has helped to provide for her six siblings and her parents. She continues to study for English exams in the hope of being accepted to a UK or Irish university. She has not given up hope. With the current tenuous ceasfire there is a fragile possibility that she and her family can begin to rebuild their lives. We ask you to join them in hope and solidarity on the 11th of December.

Throwing Shapes: From the minds of Méabh McKenna, Ross Chaney, and WRWTFWW mainstay Gareth Quinn Redmond comes the self-titled debut of Throwing Shapes — a hypnotic, texturally rich exploration in sound. Led by the striking timbre of the Irish wire strung harp, the album weaves intricate instrumental tapestries with ambitious electronic synthesis and arrangements. @throwingshapes__

Madra Salach are a six piece folk band from Dublin. Originally meeting whilst playing various outfits on the city’s indie scene, their shared love of the Irish traditional canon brought them together. Taking inspiration from the growing experimental folk scene in Ireland, Madra Salach began focusing on original writing and composition, utilising electronic equipment. These songs, while strikingly modern thematically, are written with a voice that could have emerged at any point throughout the last century, and sit proudlyalongside a thoughtfully curated collection of folk standards.

GEIS originates from the Irish for spell, taboo or blessing. Within mythology geis or geasa have an essential function within narrative: commonly spoken by women of power or the othered/queered body, these words activate motion and initiate purpose within the temporality of the story. They are intentional motivational frameworks for events that unfold. GEIS present improvised soundmaking woven by Eleanor Myler, Elaine Malone, and Méabh McKenna, all who attend the space, and the environment in which the event occurs.

Dunny is the solo project of Donnacha O’Malley, one of the founding members of Dublin-based experimental band, Meltybrains?. He crafts vocal-driven compositions that blend experimental song structures with a rich tapestry of psychedelic sounds and influences. His debut album Schtum came out in November 2024. https://musicfromdunny.bandcamp.com/ - @dunnysmusic

Gráinnemir, is a Dublin-based Palestinian artist whose work spans acting, writing and facilitation. Since moving to Ireland, Gráinnemir has continued to develop their work collaborating with Sorcha Fox—whom they met at TFT. Together, they focus on using cultural resistance through using performance as a means to confront and challenge oppression in all its forms. Gráinnemir’s recent achievements include co-curating Belonging, an event for the St. Patrick’s Festival in collaboration with Aoife Hammond for GOAL Ireland; playing the lead role in Prisoners of the Occupation at Smock Alley Theatre; and were part of Return to Palestine play. which received a five-star review from The Guardian at the PalArts Festival in London. Grainnemir is a member of the Freedom Theatre and a co-founder of the @friendsofthefreedomtheatre.ie check them out! Merchandise in support of The Freedom Theatre will be available on the night. The Stay Human project emerged in Summer 2024 as a grassroots mutual aid initiative spanning Europe, Egypt, and Palestine. What began as emergency crowdfunding for food, water, and essential supplies for families in Jabalia, Northern Gaza, quickly evolved into something more powerful: education as a form of hope. When schools couldn't reopen for a new academic year, our Palestinian team members took action. They transformed part of a damaged building into a classroom, recruited teachers, and gathered educational supplies. By September 2024, the Stay Human school was born—offering Arabic, English, and Mathematics to 120 children in the community, around 30 of whom have been orphaned due to Israel's relentless attacks and blockade. We believe in community-led solutions built on solidarity, not charity. Our mission is three-fold: (1) Sustain our current school by continuing to fund our rented building and support our three dedicated teachers until formal education resumes in Gaza. (2) Expand our vision to create a flexible school camp with tent classrooms for different age groups, engaging 10 teachers and providing education to 180 students. (3) Provide essential humanitarian support by distributing food, water, baby supplies, and addressing sanitation needs based on community priorities and changing circumstances. Beyond academic learning, these spaces provide a psychologically supportive environment where children can rebuild friendships, play, and heal. https://www.stayhumancollective.com/ - @stayhuman_collective
